If you’re reading this, it probably means that you’re going to spend some time in Leuven to study at our faculty of bio-science engineering. Well, I can only say: great choice!
Our enthusiastic student organization is called LBK, short for Landbouwkring. Literally translated, this means something like “circle of agriculture”. But really, we are so much more. The fields inside our faculty go from catalytic chemistry to environmental technology, from food science to forestry, and from agricultural studies to genome biotechnology. In short, a lot of interesting stuff!
But enough about the study part, let’s talk about the fun stuff...
Who are we?
We are Internationaal. Our team consists of nine motivated bio-engineer students, namely Kelly, Charlotte, Hanne, Joachim, Brecht, Simon, Jolan and Johanne, who leads the group. We all had great Erasmus experiences ourselves and we’ll try to make you feel at home in our beautiful Leuven, and make your international experience an unforgettable one as well.
What do we do?
Firstly, take your agenda and write in pink, bold letters orientation days: September 18th-24th.
Guided city tours, Dutch crash courses, international dinners, … In short, everything you need to have a great start of your stay in Leuven. Check the full program here.
There will also be an international week: November 27st- Decemer 1th . More information about this and all our other events will follow. Just make sure you add yourself to our facebook group to keep up to date. Because you surely don’t want to miss a trip to Brussels or a beer tasting evening, a pub crawl, a real Belgian cantus (a typical singing and drinking coming together),…
So ask us all your questions, check our events and most importantly: enjoy your stay!
Hope to see you soon,
